For Parents/Carers
In cases where we believe that a child may be suffering from significant harm, ill treatment or neglect or other forms of harm, our staff have no alternative but to follow the Leeds Safeguarding Children's Board (LSCB) procedures.

Our aim is to always to be open and honest with parents/carers and discuss concerns with them first prior to approaching other agencies, however if staff feel that by contacting the parents/carers there is an increased risk of harm to a child then the school may contact another agency before speaking to the parents/carers.
