Science
“We need science education to produce scientists, but we need it equally to create literacy in the public. Humans have a fundamental urge to comprehend the world about them, and science gives today the only world picture which we can consider as valid. It gives an understanding of the inside of the atom and of the whole universe, or the peculiar properties of the chemical substances and of the manner in which genes duplicate in biology.”
Hans A. Bethe
Our Science curriculum is shaped by our school vision – ‘‘To SHINE.’ We aim to deliver a broad and ambitious curriculum, rich in knowledge and skills, which is accessible to all. All our children will become scientifically literate citizens of the future who are able to question, problem solve, think critically and analyse in an ever-changing world through our enquiry-based science curriculum, which ignites curiosity and passion in the children, which is mirrored in our teaching.
